Nail Mail Monday: Painted Polish

It’s always a good Monday when I can do a nail mail post. Woo Hoo! Today, I have some Painted Polish nail mail to share. A little bit ago, when I decided to purchase the Made in Denim collection, I tossed a few other goodies into my shopping cart. There was one other polish I adored enough to buy it as a stand-alone. And I decided to take the plunge and order one of the PPU Mystery Bags.

Rose Gold Romantic is a “rose gold holo with added glowing copper shimmer and silver holographic glitters”. This polish has a fantastic formula. I found it easy to apply and build, and I liked the opacity in 2-3 coats.

I am such a sucker for rose gold. In my younger years, I was a white metal gal all the way for jewelry. Over the years, I’ve changed my ways. I now love all the metal colors, but rose gold has emerged in the last year or so as my favorite of them all. I love the coppery-pink color of it. And there is something vintage and romantic about it.

The same thing goes for rose gold polishes. I love them! I can’t get enough of them. But I feel it is hard to get that proper balance of pink and copper. Often, rose gold polishes end up looking more beige or just straight-up pink. This one is so, so good, though! It is perfect to me. I love the balance between pink and copper. The holographic is stunning in here. I’m so happy I grabbed this one!

Mr. Burgundy was from the October 2019 PPU sale. The theme for that month was “urban legends”. This polish is a burgundy crelly base with gold and bronze color-shifting flakes.

I think, somehow, I skipped the October 2019 PPU sale entirely. I can’t find a blog post on purchases from that month. Anyhow, if I had purchased from the October 2019 sale, I probably would have grabbed this one. It is right up my alley. I love burgundy polishes. And the flakes are spectacular! I’ve already worn this one in a full manicure, and I loved it.

Pea is for Princess was part of the November 2019 PPU sale. The theme for that month was Fairy Tales. This polish is a pea green crelly base with holographic micro glitters. It has a lovely formula. I found it easy to apply, and I liked the opacity in 2-3 coats.

I love it when a Mystery Bag purchase hits everything on the nose for me. I mean … a burgundy and a pea green in the same bag?? What could be more perfect for me? Perhaps if it was full of blues.

I can’t remember why I didn’t go for this polish when I made my November 2019 PPU order. Maybe it was capped and sold out before I ordered or something. Who knows? But I am so, so, so darn happy to have this one! It is fabulous and perfect for me in every way.

So that’s it for my short and sweet nail mail post today. I am super happy with all three of these polishes, and thrilled to add them into my growing Painted Polish stash.

What about all of you? Do you have any of the polishes from this post? If so, what do you think of them? I would love to hear all about it!

    1. Thanks! I was super excited to get the two mystery PPU overpour polishes. I love getting mystery packages, but it can also be a bit nerve wracking, since I never know if it will be something I like. I got super lucky with this one, as these are colors I love.
